Description of the Group's Activities:

Welcome parishioners and guests at Mass. Assist people when needed; hold open the door; give directions and answer questions. In the future, greeters will also give information on parish activities as they greet the people.

Skills/talents needed from volunteers:

Friendly personality.

Time commitment involved:

Twenty to 30 minutes every four to five weeks.

How this ministry can positively affect lives:

Helps people feel welcome in church; that someone is happy you came to Mass. Lets people who are new in the area know that we are a friendly community and would like them to be a part of our parish.
