Description of the Group's Activities:

Instrumentalists include, organ, piano, flute, strings, guitar, brass and percussion. All are used to lead the congregation in worship through hymns, psalms and liturgical pieces.

Skills/talents needed from volunteers:

Must be able to read music at a high level and work well with an ensemble of instruments and/or voices. Instrumentalists must also have a basic understanding of liturgy.

Time commitment involved:

May require more than one Mass during a weekend, special occasions, holy days or holidays. Six to eight special occasions per year. Twelve to 16 hours per year with rehearsals as needed.

We encourage participation by the assembly, giving meaning and beauty to their worship.
