Description of the Group's Activities:

Contacting shut-ins to offer help with errands, transportation to appointments or just a visit.

Skills/talents needed from volunteers:

Empathy and understanding of the needs of the handicapped and elderly. Also patience and being a good listener.

Time commitment involved:

Varies with individuals.

How this ministry can positively affect lives:

Gives them some sense of security in knowing someone is available to call for help or a visit. Also that they have not been forgotten and still belong to the parish.
