Description of the Group's Activities:

Hosts funeral luncheons in our cafeteria. The food is prepared by a local restaurant and needs to be placed on the serving table.

Skills/talents needed from volunteers:

A pleasant presence. Willing to work alongside two or three other women in setting up for the family.

Time commitment involved:

Two to two-and-a-half hours. Serve three or four times a year.

How this ministry can positively affect lives:

This kind service relieves the family of having to prepare for the their many guests. The hospitality extended to the family is in keeping with that shown by Mary and Martha to Christ.
