Description of the Group's Activities:

Ministry of caring involves sending cards to our homebound parishioners and those in nursing homes on their birthdays and special occasions such as Christmas, Easter or anytime you feel you want to brighten their day.

Skills/talents needed from volunteers:

No special skill or talent is needed, only a few minutes of your time. A few kind written words or a pretty card to express your love and concerns. That way they still feel part of St. Regis Parish.

Time commitment involved:

It takes a little time to find pretty cards and send them to one or two parishioners. It's a rewarding ministry knowing you make someone happy.

How this ministry can positively affect lives:

Feeling that you are not forgotten by others is a good feeling. Those who send cards also feel good about themselves as well for doing such a good deed.
