Develop articles about our upcoming parish events for the local newspaper.

Skills/talents needed from volunteers:

|
Fluent in English grammar. Creativity and computer skills will help.

Time commitment involved:

|
Most of this can be done at home and via the computer. Depends on the parish schedule.
|
|
How this ministry can positively affect lives:
|
|
The more we get our message out to the public, the better informed our people will be. This is a great evangelization tool.

These individuals would revise and/or enhance our parish Web site.
|
|
Skills/talents needed from volunteers:

|
Computer skills, especially in the areas of content/story creation in Microsoft Word, and photography.
|
|
Time commitment involved:
|
|
Two or three hours monthly.
|
|
How this ministry can positively affect lives:
|
|
Communications to our parishioners and to the outside public will get our message of "who and what we are about" as a faith community. It is a great way to evangelize.
