Description of the Group's Activities:

Spend time one afternoon with a number of engaged couples sharing your experiences as a married couple. Follow Catholic program materials called "Evenings for the Engaged." Join a larger team of "team couples" from St. Regis Parish.

Skills/talents needed from volunteers:
|
|
Married couple (both needed). Passion for marriage. Desire to help engaged couples get a good start. Group presentation and discussion.
|
|
Time commitment involved:
|
|
One four-hour meeting per year, typically Sunday afternoon. You lead one one-hour session during a meeting with two other married couples supporting you.
|
|
How this ministry can positively affect lives:
|
|
New marriage with an idea about what to expect and a few suggestions about how to live through some of the bumps. Generate a lot of thought before the wedding.
