Stewardship | What is it?
How can we make a return for all the goodness God showers on us? How, in our century, can we be disciples to each other and to all the people of God?
How can we order our lives to relive the spiritual joy, freedom, love and confidence Jesus inspired in the disciples of his time?
As a community and as individuals, we can dedicate ourselves to:
V Expressing a desire for discipleship and asking for the power to understand how we can change our lives to achieve it.
V Assessing and gratefully acknowledging all the gifts God has given us.
V Using them in the service of God and all of our brothers and sisters as best we can, and supporting others who desire to live out their discipleship.
V Knowing that each of us has been invited by God to bear witness to Christ and to make his message known.
V Evangelizing and witnessing: spreading the Gospel by living it.
V Answering a call to deeper understanding of our relationship with God, with ourselves, within our families, and with others. Accepting all as brothers and sisters in the family of God and reaching out to them.
V Following faithfully, sharing generously, living responsibly and possessing lightly.
V Using our resources wisely in the awareness that they are held in trust for the whole community.
V Deciding to become God-centered people seven days a week. Catholic Christians who are signs of Christian faith, hope, charity and welcome to those around us.
V Living as a hospitable and welcoming community, conscious of the common good and our duty and responsibility to safeguard it.
V Challenging what seems questionable while pursuing God's truth with charity, hope and joy.
